Telcordia Recognized as Emerging Telecom VAS Provider at 5th National Telecom Awards 2011
Telcordia Service Delivery and Charging Solution Currently Deployed throughout India
NEW DELHI, INDIA - May 18, 2011 - Telcordia, a global leader in the development of mobile, broadband and enterprise software and services, today announced it has been recognized by the Communication Media and Infrastructure (CMAI) Association of India as the "Emerging Telecom VAS Provider" at this year's 5th National Telecom Awards. The award was presented on May 17, 2011 during an award event on World Telecom Day at the Siri Fort Auditorium in New Delhi, India. The CMAI National Telecom Awards identify, acknowledge and recognize outstanding contributions to the field of communications.
Telcordia won the Emerging Telecom VAS Provider award for the successful deployment of its Service Delivery and Charging solution across multiple Indian mobile operators. Telcordia® Real Time Charging, which is powered by the Telcordia® Converged Application Server (CvAS), enables operators to deliver differentiated, personalized and innovative service offerings that accelerate new customer and revenue growth. The suite enables both prepaid and postpaid services to be deployed in a wide variety of convergent networks. Telcordia Service Delivery Solutions are deployed in Aircel, Idea, Tata DOCOMO and Uninor.
